Serguei Kouzmine, Managing Director

Serguei Kouzmine serves as managing partner for HTS Invest. Mr. Kouzmine has over 20 years of entrepreneurial, executive management and investment experience. As founder of Nonolet, a Russia-based PC manufacturer and distributor, he introduced one of the first Russian computer brands. As CEO of Ritzio Entertainment Group he led the company from $40 million in revenues in 2002 to $1.25 billion in revenues in 2006. As General Partner of Russian Investment Solution Fund, he successfully navigated the Fund through Russian default to a profitable exit.

He earned a Master's Degree in physics from Novosibirsk State University and Ph.D. in physics from Institute of Nuclear Physics in Russia. He continued his education in the United States, where he earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Business School and was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society at the GSB.

Sean McCloskey, Entrepreneur in Residence

Sean McCloskey joined HTS as an Entrepreneur in Residence and brings significant operating experience in early stage technology companies. Most recently, Mr. McCloskey helped found ecoInsight, a SAAS platform for managing high performance buildings. Prior to ecoInsight, he was a Senior Vice President in SAP's acquisitions group where he held leadership roles in identifying acquisition targets and integrating acquired companies. Prior to joining SAP, Mr. McCloskey was Chief Executive Officer of Visiprise, Inc., an enterprise software company serving many of the world's Fortune class manufacturers. During his tenure at Visiprise, he established the company as the market leader in its industry and in 2008 successfully sold the company to SAP. Before his technology career, Mr. McCloskey was a New York-based corporate lawyer at Weil, Gotshal & Manges, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private equity financings. Mr. McCloskey holds a B.A. in Economics from Boston College and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, in each case graduating with honors.
